Cowell's Genuine Pavlovas have proudly been a part of New Zealand since Ron Cowell opene the first Cowell's Kitchen in 1972. Since then the franchise has been expanded through out New Zealand. Now there are three Cowell's Kitchens through out the country.
The Auckland and Northland Cowell's Genuine Pavlova franchise is owned and operated by David & Leah Down. Their team manufacture and distribute pavlovas from there Otahuhu kitchen. There pavlovas are avaliable from the Bombay, north to Kaitaia.
Richard & Andrea Holmes own and operate the Central and Lower North Island Cowell's Genuine Pavlova franchise. They supply pavlovas from the Bombay, south to Wellington. Their main kitchen is based in Hamilton, but they also have a distribution center in Wellington. You'll see Alby and Gaylord on the road, traveling to Wellington loaded with pavlovas ready to be eaten!
Matthew Heaton is the owner and operator of the South Island franchise. He and his staff manufacture pavlovas to be distributed through out the entire South Island.
